What is EarlyBird?+
EarlyBird is an independent Upwork job alert service for freelancers. Choose your skills and minimum fixed-price and hourly budgets, then receive matching job alerts by email, Telegram, or Slack.
Can EarlyBird help me get started on Upwork?+
EarlyBird helps you discover relevant job opportunities and spend less time repeating searches. You still need an Upwork account, a clear profile, and a thoughtful application. Alerts do not guarantee interviews or jobs.
Do I need to connect my Upwork profile?+
No. Set up your alerts with your skills and budget preferences. You do not need to provide an Upwork profile link.
Where will I receive job alerts?+
Enable email alerts for your account email address, or connect Telegram and Slack in your alert settings. You can use more than one delivery channel.
Can I browse matching jobs in a dashboard?+
Yes. Basic includes your Find jobs dashboard. Explore recent opportunities, compare fixed budgets and hourly rates separately, search by keyword, and group jobs by skill. Dashboard filters do not change your saved alerts. It shows available matches, not a record of which alerts were delivered.
Can I change my filters later?+
Yes. You can select up to 20 skills, update your minimum project budget and hourly rate, and change email delivery in your alert settings. Save your changes to apply them.
Can I use EarlyBird in ChatGPT?+
Yes. Manually connect EarlyBird through ChatGPT Developer mode to read matches, compare budgets, and manage alert preferences. You need an eligible ChatGPT account. Our setup guide includes the server URL and example prompts; the public directory listing is not yet available.
Does EarlyBird apply to jobs for me?+
EarlyBird itself does not submit applications. You can separately connect Upwork’s own ChatGPT app for supported Upwork actions, including proposals. Review the listing, proposal, and any Connects cost before approving.
How do I manage my subscription?+
Open Billing in your account to access the Stripe customer portal. The checkout shows the current price, billing interval, and any trial terms before you subscribe.
